Description

Overview

The Road Power 4 Gauge 16′ Jumper Cables (577307) is designed for emergency vehicle jump-starting across cars, trucks, and SUVs in demanding conditions.

Technical Features

• 4-Gauge Wire Construction: Heavy-duty 4-gauge wire delivers the current capacity required to jump-start cars, trucks, and SUVs reliably.
• T-Prene Jacket Insulation: Remains flexible in extreme temperatures and resists oil, chemicals, and water, ensuring reliable performance in harsh operating environments.
• Polar-Glo Clamps Triple-Polarity Identification: Each clamp features color coding, indent stamping, and glow-in-the-dark labels simultaneously, reducing the risk of incorrect polarity connection in low-light conditions.
• Ergonomically Designed Clamps: Shaped for easy handling and firm attachment to both top-post and side-post batteries, accommodating a wide range of vehicle battery configurations.
• Shielded Energized Clamp Surfaces: All energized surfaces are shielded and all conductive surfaces are recessed to prevent accidental contact and short circuits during use.
• 16-Foot Cable Length: Provides sufficient reach to connect two vehicles positioned front-to-front or side-by-side without requiring precise alignment.
• UL Listed: Third-party certification confirms the cables meet established safety standards for electrical performance and user protection.

Applications

• Jump-starting passenger cars, trucks, and SUVs with discharged batteries.
• Emergency roadside use in extreme cold or heat where cable flexibility and clamp grip are critical.
• Situations requiring battery connection to both top-post and side-post battery terminals.
• Low-light or nighttime use, aided by glow-in-the-dark polarity labels on the Polar-Glo clamps.
