Technical Features
- Zinc construction: Provides corrosion resistance and structural durability compared to plastic alternatives, extending the service life of the repair fitting in outdoor and wet environments.
- Dual-size compatibility (5/8 in. and 3/4 in.): Accommodates the two most common residential and commercial garden hose diameters, reducing the need for multiple repair fittings on hand.
- Female threaded connection: Mates directly with standard male hose ends, enabling a secure, leak-resistant reconnection at a damaged or severed hose section.
- Clamp fitting design: Allows the mender to be fastened firmly onto the hose body, maintaining a stable, pressure-holding grip during normal garden and irrigation use.
- Carded packaging: Keeps all components contained and organized at point of purchase, ensuring no hardware is missing prior to installation.
Applications
- Repairing cracked, split, or severed female hose ends on 5/8 in. or 3/4 in. garden hoses.
- Restoring hose function in residential lawn and garden irrigation systems.
- Replacing damaged female fittings on drip or spray watering setups without replacing the entire hose length.
